Steven Lloyd (born October 30, 1995) is the son and only child of Jamie Lloyd. Shortly after Steven's birth, Jamie was killed and the defenseless Steven was protected from his great-uncle by his adoptive parents, Tommy Doyle and Kara Strode. He would eventually be given up a few weeks later.

Steven was born to 15-year-old Jamie Lloyd on October 30, 1995. Immediately after his birth, the Man in Black arrived and took the baby to a ceremonial chamber where the Mark of Thorn was dabbed on his torso in blood. Later in the evening, the midwife who had helped deliver Steven, Nurse Mary, retrieved the baby and brought him back to Jamie, helping them escape. Jamie stole a pickup truck and began to drive back to her hometown of Haddonfield.
Jamie stopped at a bus depot in search of help and managed to make a quick plea on a radio broadcast to Dr. Loomis. Upon realizing Michael was present, she quickly hid Steven in a cabinet, wrapped a roll of paper towels in his blanket, and climbed out the window. Jamie met her end minutes later, when her uncle caught up with her in a barn and impaled her on a corn thresher.
Steven was found the next day by Tommy Doyle, who had traced Jamie's radio call to the bus depot. Tommy took the baby home and named him, vowing to protect the newborn from Michael. Tommy managed to bring Kara Strode, a cousin of his former babysitter Laurie Strode who was unknowingly living in the old Myers house, and her son Danny over to his house and left to find Dr. Loomis. Wynn lured Danny back to the Myers house, forcing Kara to leave Steven unattended to rescue her son. Tommy and Loomis returned to find the baby missing. Wynn and his followers broke into the house and kidnapped Steven, Kara and Danny, knocking out Tommy and Loomis with sedative drugs.
Steven, Kara, and Danny were taken to Smith's Grove Sanitarium, where Danny and Steven were kept next door to an operating room where Wynn and his staff prepared for surgery. Tommy and Kara rescued the kids as an enraged Michael slaughtered the cult members. The group worked together to defeat Michael before fleeing in Tommy's Jeep.[1]
The Producer's Cut[]
In The Producer's Cut, after Steven is taken to Smith's Grove with Kara and Danny, he is presented on an altar alongside Kara as Michael's final sacrifice so the curse can pass on to Danny. Tommy and Dr. Loomis arrive to rescue them, and Steven escapes Haddonfield with Tommy, Kara and Danny.
Notes and trivia[]
- The Producer's Cut of Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers seems to imply that the Cult of Thorn had Michael rape Jamie to conceive Steven. However, screenwriter Daniel Farrands clarified that Jamie was impregnated by the essence of evil and no sexual intercourse actually took place.
- On the other hand, the theatrical version of the film suggests that Steven was conceived via in vitro fertilization, as evidenced by the laboratory of fetuses in the final scene.
- The two versions of the film also differ in Steven's role within the Cult: The Producer's Cut features a Druid ceremony in which Wynn states that Steven will be Michael's final sacrifice to Thorn, specifying that it needs to be someone of innocent blood. In the theatrical version, the ceremony is replaced by the operating room massacre, and Wynn calling Steven "the dawn of a new age" seems to play against the idea of sacrificing him. Steven therefore may have been created as part of the cult's experiments to study and control the power of pure evil.
- Steven is Laurie Strode's first grandchild.
